The inventors have developed a novel stoichiometric composite Ni0.5Zn0.3Co0.2Fe2O4 +BaFe12O19 material with the use of composite ferrite synthesized using Conventional synthesis method. The compound Ni0.5Zn0.3Co0.2Fe2O4 is prepared with Nickel based soft ferrite and doped with Zinc and Cobalt to optimize the dielectric properties. Compound BaFe12O19 is based on the barium hard ferrite. Barium hard ferrite is combined with soft ferrite to obtain the matching value of relative permittivity and relative permeability in UHF band. The said composite Nano ferrite Ni0.5Zn0.3Co0.2Fe2O4 +BaFe12O19 is most effective for use as substrate in high bandwidth in UHF band miniaturized antenna as the resulting material has matching permittivity and permeability and the size of antenna can be reduced to a large extent. Hence, the excellent electromagnetic properties obtained in present investigation for the suitably sintered Ni0.5Zn0.3Co0.2Fe2O4 +BaF-e12O19 ferrite shows a lot of potential for miniaturization of microstrip antenna with an improved performance.
