PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum for treatment of radioactive material containing polluted water which can effectively adsorb radioactive material from radioactive material containing contaminated water.SOLUTION: On one opening side of the inner periphery of a metal cylindrical body 1, a heat-resistant ceramic layer 3 is provided substantially cylindrically. On the other opening side of the inside of the metal cylindrical body 1 in which the heat-resistant ceramic layer 3 is not provided on the inner periphery, a filter layer 4 is provided. The filter layer 4 is formed by lamination of at least a ceramic activated charcoal layer 4a, a mudstone layer 4b, and a ceramic carbon impregnated nonwoven fabric layer 4c.
