This is a ship speedometer that makes it possible to obtain an appropriate correction coefficient for obtaining the speed of water vessel from the measured flow velocity according to the navigation conditions of the ship. The ship speedometer stores information on correction coefficients that differ depending on the navigation conditions of the ship, measures a first flow velocity at a predetermined depth in a fluid in which the ship is floating, and determines the first flow velocity. The correction coefficient corresponding to the navigation condition of the ship at the time of measurement is acquired, the first flow velocity is corrected based on the acquired correction coefficient, and the speed of the water vessel is calculated.
