Where it is assumed that a detection signal in the first cycle time is a first detection signal VH and a detection signal in the second cycle time is a second detection signal VL, the gas concentration arithmetic unit computes the concentration of the gas to be measured on the basis of a first information group comprising a first average signal VH1' derived by averaging the values of first detection signals VH1, VH2 at two first cycle times TW1, TW3 that are consecutive in time and a second detection signal VL1 detected in the second cycle time TW2 between the two first cycle times.
