Provided is a hospital infection prevention support device that is capable of appropriately supporting the prevention of hospital infections and that comprises: an action acquisition unit (101) that acquires room entry action information, which is action information indicating the action of a room visitor who has entered a medical treatment-related room which is a room relating to medical treatment, and which is action information indicating action by the room visitor at the time of room entry; a room entry rule information storage unit (102) that stores room entry rule information, which is information indicating rules pertaining to hygiene protection actions, which are actions performed at the time of room entry in order to protect the hygiene of room visitors; a room entry determination unit (103) that determines whether an action at the time of room entry indicated by the room entry action information satisfies the rules indicated by the room entry rule information; and an output unit (106) that outputs information in accordance with the determination results of the room entry determination unit (103).
