PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a high quality carbon filament/polycarbonate resin composite pellet with good yield by a pull-trusion process.SOLUTION: In producing a carbon filament/polycarbonate resin composite pellet by a pull-trusion process, the following (1) to (4) conditions are met: (1) the carbon fiber content in the carbon filament/polycarbonate resin composite is 5 to 40 mass%; (2) the melt resin temperature is 290 to 340°C; (3) setting the diameter of impregnation roll as a (mm), the width of the filament bundle as b (mm), the contact area between the impregnation roll and the filament bundle is 0.6πab to 1.4πab; and (4) the pull speed of the resin impregnated filament bundle is 1 to 12 kg/hr.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
