PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a watching party and a watched party to check each other's state.SOLUTION: A mutual state-checking system comprises: a motion information calculating unit 40 that calculates motion information on human motions in a building 1 on the basis of sensing information outputted by a human body sensor 2 that senses human motions in the building 1; a motion information display unit 50 that displays, according to an instruction by a user, the motion information calculated by the motion information calculating unit 40; a frequency information calculating unit 41 that calculates frequency information regarding the frequency of displaying motion information by the motion information display unit 50; and a frequency information display unit 60 that displays the frequency information calculated by the frequency information calculating unit 41. The mutual state-checking system may also include: a watching device 5 managed by a person watching residents of the building 1 and equipped with the motion information display unit 50a; and watched party device 6 managed by the residents and equipped with the frequency information display unit 60.
