PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an algorithm generation device with which it is possible to realize, by using other image processing libraries, an image processing algorithm based on an existing image processing library.SOLUTION: The algorithm generation device has: an additional function generation unit (11) and an algorithm generation unit (12). The additional function generation unit (11) finds, for each of second image processing functions included in a second image processing library, a combination of first image processing functions in which a difference between two processed images each obtained by applying a combination of first image processing functions selected from a first image processing library or the second image processing function, respectively, to a first image falls within a first permissible range, and adds the combination as a third image processing function. The algorithm generation unit (12) generates, as an algorithm to realize prescribed image processing, a combination of the third image processing functions in which a difference between two processed images each obtained by respectively applying a combination of one or more third image processing functions or a prescribed image processing to a second image falls within a second permissible range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
