The present invention concerns an item of clothing (1), comprising: a first textile area (2), which is suitable to receive at least one sensor; a second textile area (3); and a third textile area (4), which is arranged at least partially between the first (2) and second (3) textile areas, whereby the third textile area (4) is provided such that when the item of clothing (1) is worn it isolates relative motions between the first textile area (2) and the second textile area (3), so that a sensor received by the first textile area (2) remains substantially fixed in relation to an area of a subjacent organ of a wearer of the item of clothing (1).
