A trusted third party broker collects information on successful computer security practices from multiple organizations and privately shares the collected information at the organization level. Information on empirically successful computer security practices is received from multiple source organizations. Information on empirically successful computer security practices received from multiple source organizations is fused and analyzed. Based on this analysis, specific information on empirically successful computer security practices for sharing with particular target organizations is identified. Once the information for sharing with the target organization is identified, any explicit and / or implicit source information that can identify the organization (s) from which the information is based is removed. Identified specific information on empirically successful computer security practices is then provided to specific target organizations with source identification information removed.
