PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To (1) make it possible to accurately calculate a target azimuth only if information on reception power which depends on the target azimuth and information on antenna directivity are known regardless of use or no use of an array antenna, to (2) reduce a calculation scale, and to (3) make prior estimation of an arriving wave number (target number) unnecessary at the time of accurately calculating the target azimuth on the basis of the information on reception power which depends on the target azimuth and the information on antenna directivity.SOLUTION: A radar target azimuth detection device of the present disclosure includes: a reception signal conversion unit 2 for converting a radar reception signal into information on reception power which depends on a target azimuth; and a target azimuth calculation unit 5 for calculating the target azimuth by using a least square method of repeating calculation under the conditions of non-negativity constraint on the basis of the information on reception power which depends on the target azimuth and information on antenna directivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
