PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source causing less fluctuations in laser beam output and suitable for absorption spectrum.;SOLUTION: A middle infrared laser source comprises: an excitation light source 100; a signal light source 101; a signal generator 102 modulating the wavelength of the signal light source 101; a wavelength conversion element 105 including an optical waveguide composed of a periodically polarization-inverted two-dimensional nonlinear optical material; a photodetector 115 detecting light passing through a reference cell 110 filled with reference substance; a lock-in amplifier 116 extracting a specific frequency component from the detection signal of the photodetector 115; and a PID control circuit 117 performing feedback control to the signal light source 101 based on the component extracted by the lock-in amplifier 116. The light source modulating the wavelength and the light source controlling the wavelength based on the optical signal passing through the reference cell 110 are unified into the signal light source 101 outputting the wavelength with lower end surface reflection rate of the wavelength conversion element 105.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
