The present invention relates to the connection of a camera module via a coaxial cable. To that end, the present invention implements a connection means for coaxial cables that allows the entire circumference to be shielded by continuing the outer conductors throughout the housing of the connection means and the entire camera module. For this purpose, the outer conductor of the interface for connection of the coaxial cable is coupled with a conductive housing, which allows electrical shielding of the internal components of the camera module.
