PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stress acting on a concrete structure and a compression strength of the concrete structure to be precisely estimated by precisely calculating an elastic wave velocity of the concrete structure.;SOLUTION: In a concrete structure 1, a member 20 to-be-embedded having an elastic modulus larger than that of concrete is embedded in a state that a portion of the member is exposed. A shock is applied by a hammer and the like to an exposed portion 20a of the member 20 to-be-embedded, and the shock is detected at exposed portions 20b, 20c at other two places. An elastic wave velocity of the concrete structure 1 is calculated from a distance (L2-L1) and a time difference between the portions where the shock is detected. Based on this elastic wave velocity, a stress acting on the concrete structure and a compression strength of the concrete structure can be precisely estimated.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
