PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane obstructiveness evaluation method of reverse osmotic membrane feed water capable of properly evaluating membrane obstructiveness of water fed to a reverse osmotic membrane.;SOLUTION: There is provided a membrane obstructiveness evaluation method of reverse osmotic membrane feed water for evaluating membrane obstructiveness of feed water 3 fed to a reverse osmotic membrane, by measuring insoluble TEP concentration CY in feed water 3, or calculating insoluble TEP concentration percentage to evaluate membrane obstructiveness of feed water 3 based on measurement result of the insoluble TEP concentration CY or calculation result of the insoluble TEP concentration percentage. Thereby membrane obstructiveness of feed water 3 can properly be evaluated by measuring insoluble TEP concentration CY in feed water 3 or insoluble TEP concentration percentage because the insoluble TEP concentration CY and the insoluble TEP concentration percentage have high correlation with fouling of the reverse osmotic membrane.
