PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind escape structure and method of wind escape at entrance of a building which can reduce the wind to a passerby in the vicinity of the exterior entrance of a building.;SOLUTION: A wind escape structure 100 is formed on the upper side of an entrance 2 and has a roof 6 extending toward the front side of a building 1. The roof 6 is spaced apart from a first wall surface 3A disposed on the upper side of the entrance 2 in a side wall portion 3, so that a gap 8 is formed between a proximal end portion 6a of the roof 6 and the first wall surface 3A. Therefore, a partial wind W 1, from among the wind blown from the outside of the building 1 toward the entrance 2, flows into the gap between the proximal end portion 6a of the roof 6 and the first wall surface 3A. That is, the partial wind W 1 can escape upward. As a result, it is possible to reduce the wind speed of wind W 2 flowing toward the entrance.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
