PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to improve usability for an operator by enabling easy setting of a number-of-persons measurement region into imaged video of a camera device regardless of whether or not the operator is an expert having abundant experience of setting work for the number-of-persons measurement region.SOLUTION: A number-of-persons measurement region setting method includes: on a display unit, displaying imaged video of an imaged area imaged by a camera device; when a first parameter indicating a position of a gateway projected on the imaged video displayed on the display unit is input, generating, on the basis of the input first parameter, a picture of a number-of-persons measurement region for measuring the number of one or more persons passing through the gateway before making the picture be superposed on the imaged video and displayed on the display unit; and transmitting information on the number-of-persons measurement region to the camera device to perform setting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
