The present invention relates to a folding seat (10) provided with a supporting structure (20) comprising at least one seat (21). The jump seat (10) comprises a mounting structure provided with at least two arms (32) having at least one degree of freedom in rotation about a storage axis (AX2), said support structure (20) being articulated to each arm (32) by a pivoting arrangement (40), said pivoting arrangement (40) being hinged to each arm (32) along a folding axis (AX4), the folding axes (AX4) and storage axes (AX2) being parallel to each other, said pivoting arrangement (40) imparting at least one rotational degree of freedom to the carrier structure (20) relative to the arms (32) about an elevational axis (AX5).
