Disclosed is a method for suppressing a water signal and reinforcing a metabolite signal by adjusting a central frequency and a receiver bandwidth of an excitation signal band in a magnetic resonance spectroscopy,MRS, image technique. According to one embodiment of the method for suppressing the water signal and reinforcing the metabolite signal, an excitation signal adjusted so as to have a central frequency, which is smaller than the resonant frequency of water, is applied, and the size of the receiver bandwidth is applied so as to be the same as the difference between the resonant frequency of water and the central frequency.
