The general field of the invention is that of the graphical representation of a three-dimensional synthetic view of the external landscape in an aircraft visualization system (A), said graphic representation being displayed on a display screen comprising the piloting information. and of navigation of said aircraft superimposed on said three-dimensional synthetic representation of the external landscape, said synthetic representation being calculated up to a first determined distance (RSVS). In the method according to the invention, said three-dimensional synthetic representation is tilted by a tilting angle (0) around an axis (X) disposed at the level of the ground in a substantially horizontal plane and substantially perpendicular to an axis comprised between the direction of flight and the heading of the aircraft, said axis moving with the aircraft.
