The invention describes an ultrasound - probe (1), in particular for applications in the region of the medical diagnosis carried out by means of ultra sound ono. An ultrasound - transducer (10) of the probe comprises a plurality of individual transducers (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16), wherein the ultrasound - transducer (10) for generating an ultrasound - transmission signal in response to an electrical excitation of the on (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) is designed. A transmitter (20) of the probe comprises a plurality of digital pulse generators (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) for generating respective, with respect to one another, the synchronous drive signals for the plurality of individual transducers (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16). The interconnection of the plurality of individual transducers (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) and pulse generators (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) is such that a first partial number (11, 13, 15) of the on (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) to the associated pulse generators (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) is connected with a first polarity and can be controlled in synchronism with a control signal, and in that a second partial number of the on (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) to the associated pulse generators (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) with a second polarity is connected, in which the second polarity to the first polarity is reversed, and synchronously with the inverted trigger signal can be controlled.
