A remote diagnosis system 10 for performing a remote medical evaluation of the health status of a first actor 1 by a second actor 2 is provided. The remote diagnostic system 10 includes a video conferencing system 15 having a first endpoint E1 on the first actor 1 side and a second endpoint E2 on the second actor 2 side. By means of the video conference system 15, data packets can be exchanged via at least one data network 20 with a first data quality between the first and the second end points E1, E2. According to the invention, the remote-sensing system 10 further comprises a replay recorder 60 on the side of the first actor 1, by means of which video material in a second data quality can be received. Furthermore, a method for carrying out a remote medical examination as well as a computer program product with computer-executable program code for carrying out the method according to the invention are provided
