The present invention relates to a system for pinpoint application of liquids, preferably herbicides, with at least one light-sensitive sensor, with at least one spray head for the liquid to be applied and with an evaluation unit for controlling the spray heads. In order to be able to reduce the amount of herbicide used with the system and nevertheless to obtain a good action against weeds, it is provided according to the invention that the light-sensitive sensor or at least one of the light-sensitive sensors is equipped with a plurality of channels sensitive to different color spaces. The invention also relates to the use of a corresponding system for the targeted control of weeds, and to a method for the precise application of liquids.
