FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: before and after surgery of the child's face, the dielectric permeability in the wound or infiltrate region and on the skin of the symmetrical sections of the healthy side is measured with the use of resonant near-field microwave sounding. At the measurement difference of 0.5 conventional units between the damaged and healthy side, a favourable direction of pathological process development is predicted for the third day, and an unfavourable healing process is predicted for a measurement difference of more than 0.5 conventional units.;EFFECT: method allows to increase the prediction reliability, which is achieved by using resonant near-field microwave sounding and measuring the dielectric constant of the tissue.;3 ex
