FIELD: radio engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, specifically to passive radiolocation methods, consisting in determination of radio-frequency source (RFS) bearing angles by reception of electromagnetic waves, created by RFS, by passive space distributed radar system and their further digital processing. Said result is achieved due to multichannel parallel reception of electric signals, formed by individual dipoles of symmetrical horizontal dipoles mutually orthogonal pairs, composing direction finder phased antenna array elements, and further digital processing of received signals using single-stage estimation procedure, consisting in formation of decisive function directly depending on bearing and elevation and its subsequent maximization.;EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in improvement of accuracy of RFS bearing estimation and increase in direction finders operation range with any type of electromagnetic wave polarization.;1 cl, 5 dwg
