FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention reates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for surgical treatment of pain syndrome in medial osteoarthrosis of knee joint. Coagulation of new pathological vessels in knee joint is made under ultrasound control in color mode of doppler sonography. Neoangiogenesis area and most coarse feeding vessel of this area are detected. Under control of ultrasound sensor puncture needle is introduced to feeding vessel within neoangiogenesis area. Butt light guide is introduced in needle lumen and it is brought to vessel. Exposure to laser radiation with wavelength of 1,560 nm is made, radiation power is 9 W in constant mode up to obliteration of neogenic vessels. Duration of intervention is controlled by ultrasound image of blood flow arrest in area of interest.;EFFECT: method provides reduction of pain syndrome with minimal damage of surrounding tissues due to accurate positioning of working end of needle in area of laser exposure, providing targeted action on central vessel of neoangiogenesis focus.;1 cl, 1 ex
