An apparatus for managing and evaluating a heterogeneous sensor image fusion algorithm according to the present invention includes: an input unit for receiving a heterogeneous image or a heterogeneous image fusion algorithm obtained by a heterogeneous sensor; a data management unit for storing at least one of the heterogeneous image and the heterogeneous image fusion algorithm; an algorithm driving unit for driving an algorithm by applying the heterogeneous image inputted by the input unit to the heterogeneous image fusion algorithm stored in the data management unit or driving the algorithm by applying the heterogeneous image fusion algorithm inputted by the input unit to the heterogeneous image stored in the data management unit; an algorithm evaluation unit for determining the accuracy of an algorithm driven by the algorithm driving unit and calculating an evaluation result for the algorithm; and a result display unit for displaying the algorithm evaluation result calculated by the algorithm evaluation unit. Accordingly, a user can selectively apply and use the algorithm optimized for a user environment or purpose.
