The present invention relates to a compound for detecting zinc ions in an NMDA receptor, and a fluorescence probe containing the same for detecting zinc ions in an NMDA receptor. The compound for detecting zinc ions in an NMDA receptor can detect zinc ions through a two-photon fluorescence change showed by collecting zinc ions around an NMDA receptor after being coupled with the NMDA receptor. Accordingly, by sensing a change of zinc ions according to neural stimulation, the compound can be used in neuropathology research and can be usefully contained as a composition for diagnosing or detecting neuropathic diseases comprising the compound as an effective component.
