The present invention relates to an energy storage system using a CdSe quantum dot and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly, to an energy storage system using a CdSe quantum dot as an electrode material and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, provided is the energy storage system (capacitor, battery, etc.) based on a CdSe nano crystal. The energy storage system according to the present invention has stable cycle stability and low internal resistance. The energy storage system is composed in an electrode-electrolyte-separator-electrolyte-electrode sequence. The electrode is composed of an ITO substrate on which a CdSe red quantum dot is deposited.
