More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for preparing platinum nanoparticles by coprecipitation with viruses, and more particularly, to a method for producing platinum nanoparticles by co-immobilization of M13 virus (wild type and M13-Y3E or M13-4E type) The present invention relates to a method for preparing platinum nanoparticles by coprecipitation of platinum with M13 virus capable of synthesizing a platinum nanostructure having excellent electrochemical catalytic activity by a simple method by co-depositing ITO on ITO. The platinum nanostructure produced according to the present invention can realize very excellent catalytic properties when applied to an electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation (MOR) of a direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC).
