The present invention relates to a dye-sublimation type ink ribbon which is used in a dye-sublimation type printing method and includes a bottom surface and an upper surface corresponding to the bottom surface. A metallic ink having at least one color of a metallic tone, an IR ink configured to be distinguished by infrared rays, a dye-containing coating liquid, inks having yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), and kuro (K) colors, and a protective liquid (fO) are selectively applied in a predetermined order on the bottom surface facing the surface of an ID card or photographic paper which are adhesive materials. The upper surface is coated with a predetermined coating agent to provide a predetermined slip and heat resistance. The ink ribbon can be made of a PET film material having a thickness of 3 to 10 micrometers. The metallic ink can be selected from colors including at least silver, gold, and red. The dye-sublimation type ink ribbon according to the present invention can improve security and appearance of an adhesive material including an ID card or photographic paper.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
