The present invention relates to a method of simulating a deformation history of an actual UOE steel pipe through a press bending test in which a thickness/diameter ratio (t/D ratio) is reproduced, and evaluating mechanical properties. The present invention comprises: (a) simulating a thickness/diameter ratio of a steel pipe at a time of pipe adjustment by applying bending deformation to a specimen through a press bending test; (b) flattening a press bending specimen; (c) collecting a tensile specimen from the press-bent and flattened specimen; and (d) evaluating the mechanical properties of the steel tube through a tensile test of the collected tensile specimen taken. Accordingly, the present invention is able to simulate a history of deformation of a UOE adjustment process through a press bending-flattening tension test, and to predict a very accurate yield strength.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
