The present invention relates to a reinforcement method, applying a reinforcement member to a structure requiring reinforcement to reinforce a structure, and relates to a realization of designing an economic structure allowing a reinforcement member to support a load of a magnitude inducing bending distortion within a constant value; and allowing the structure to be reinforced to support a load of the magnitude inducing bending distortion equal to or greater than the constant value when the bending distortion occurs in the reinforcement member by load action. As such, when the reinforcement member is applied to the structure to be reinforced, the reinforcement member is installed in a position against the load on the structure by being spaced apart at a separation distance such that the acted load of the magnitude causing bending distortion within the separation distance is supported with only the reinforcement member and a load part of the magnitude causing the bending distortion equal to or greater than the separation distance is supported by the structure to be reinforced.
