In the present invention, disclosed are a refactoring apparatus for improving synchronization processing of a source code based on a UML model and a refactoring method thereof. The refactoring apparatus according to the present invention includes: a synchrony code extracting unit which extracts a synchrony code by analyzing the source code which is inputted; a modeling unit which generates a model by reversely modeling the extracted synchrony code; a refactoring unit which generates a converted model by the refactoring processing of the generated model; and a code converting unit which generates a code outputted by converting the converted model into the code. According to the present invention, synchrony processing is improved by improving a class structure with regard to a part related to the synchrony processing of the source code.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
