The present invention relates to a pimple alleviating cosmetic composition including a Vietnamese ginseng extract as an active ingredient. Specifically, the present invention relates to a pimple preventing or alleviating cosmetic composition including, as a major active ingredient, a Vietnamese ginseng extract containing majonoside R2 ginsenoside, or majonoside R2 ginsenoside. Vietnamese ginseng contains a large quantity of majonoside R2, which is saponin that is not contained in Korean ginseng. Also, the Vietnamese ginseng is stable without causing side effects to the skin, and has excellent effects in alleviating pimples. Thus, the Vietnamese ginseng can be useful as a material for a pimple alleviating cosmetic product.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
