The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing psychotherapy using virtual experience content. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for providing psychotherapy using virtual experience content comprises: a virtual experience content providing unit to provide a user with virtual experience content for each situation via a user terminal; an emotional state information acquisition unit to acquire emotional state information of the user having executed the virtual experience content; a stress model generation unit to use the emotional state information to generate a stress model of the user; a psychotherapy model matching unit to match a psychotherapy model and the user for the user in accordance with the stress model; and a monitoring unit to monitor whether the user executes the psychotherapy model. Accordingly, a response tendency in accordance with a stress situation of the user is obtained by the virtual experience content to provide an optimal psychotherapy model.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
