The present invention relates to a system and a method for monitoring whether a medical person is wearing a medical safety protector in hospital by using image analysis. The system for monitoring whether a medical person is wearing a medical safety protector in hospital by using image analysis comprises: a camera which is installed in an entrance of an isolation ward or an operating room to photograph a medical person, generate image information and transmit the image information to a management server; and a management server which extracts joint information such as a face, hands, and foots based on the received image information from the camera, extracts a form of each joint by analyzing features and color of each piece of joint image information, checks whether the medical person is wearing a protector by comparing an image of the shape of each joint and a stored reference image of each joint wearing a protector, and provides a warning message when the medical person is not wearing the protector.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
