The present invention relates to methods for transmitting and receiving downlink data. More specifically, the present invention relates to methods and apparatuses which transmit and receive data to and from a specific terminal by using specific time and frequency resources and by considering a data transmission interval determined based on a specific criterion and which transmit and receive control information corresponding to the former transmission and reception. In particular, according to the present invention, provided is the method in which a terminal receives data. The method comprises the steps of: receiving setting information regarding Short-Transmission Time intervals (S-TTIs) from a base station; checking configurations of the S-TTIs within each sub-frame based on the setting information; and receiving data within the S-TTIs and decoding the data. In this case, a Short-Transmission Time interval (S-TTI) is configured for each of M Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols within a single sub-frame, and the M is selected from among natural numbers ranging from 1 to 7.
