An apparatus for calculating vulnerability of an information system includes: an interface unit for receiving information with respect to an attack; and a control unit for determining whether the attack is able to be incurred in practice. The control unit includes: an attack technique analysis unit for extracting a customer premises equipment (CPE) item of an attack technique; and an attack possibility detection unit for extracting a CPE item with respect to an attack target device, comparing the CPE item of the attack technique with the CPE item with respect to the attack target device, and determining whether an attack is able to be incurred in practice. Accordingly, security vulnerability of the information system due to the attack is objectively derived.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
