The present invention relates to a water-repellent coating composition containing a hybrid-type acrylate compound which has one low-fluorinated alkyl group and one hydrocarbon group, and a production method thereof. According to the present invention, the water-repellent coating composition can create excellent water-repellency and/or oil-repellency as well as high solubility to universal solvents (fluorine-free organic solvents), thereby being suitable to be used as water-repellent coating agents.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
