Provided are an outdoor unit (100) for a multi-online unit system, and a multi-online unit, the outdoor unit (100) comprising: a main air-return duct (7); a plurality of compressors, the air-return port (6) of each of the compressors being connected to the main air-return duct (7) by means of sub-air-return ports (61); an oil separator (8); the inlet (81) of the oil separator (8) is connected to each exhaust outlet (5); a sub-oil-return duct (62) is connected between each sub-air-return port (61) and the oil outlet (82); a first throttling device (621) is connected in series to each of the sub-oil-return ducts (62); the first throttling devices (621) corresponding to at least N-1 auxiliary compressors are configured to have an opening/closing function; each first throttling device (621) is open when the corresponding auxiliary compressor is operating.
