The present invention is applicable to the technical field of radio frequency and provides an LTE frequency conversion technology-based 5.8 GHz radio frequency application method and system. The method comprises: step S1, a baseband chip generates an I/Q signal and sends the I/Q signal to a radio frequency chip, and the baseband chip generates a frequency conversion control signal and sends the frequency conversion control signal to a frequency conversion chip; step S2, the radio frequency chip modulates the I/Q signal into a first radio frequency signal of an LTE standard band, and sends the first radio frequency signal to the frequency conversion chip; step S3, the frequency conversion chip generates a local oscillator signal according to the frequency conversion control signal, and superposes the first radio frequency signal with the local oscillator signal to obtain a second radio frequency signal of a 5.8 GHz band. The LTE frequency conversion technology-based 5.8 GHz radio frequency application method and system provided in the present invention achieve application of LTE technology in a non-LTE standard band (5.8 GHz), such that spectrum resources are fully utilized.
