The present invention relates to the field of navigation. Disclosed are a blind-man navigation method and a blind-man navigation device. The navigation method comprises: obtaining image information about an environment where a user is located; according to the image information, determining a distance between the user and a traffic signal light; according to the distance between the user and the traffic signal light, determining a distance between the user and a crossroad; and when the distance between the user and the crossroad is less than a pre-set distance threshold value, determining that the user is in a state of reaching the crossroad. According to the blind-man navigation method, when a user, in an outdoor activity, needs to pass through a crossroad which is provided with a traffic signal light, the navigation method can recognize whether the user has reached the crossroad, so as to perform subsequent navigation working regarding an indication condition of the traffic signal light at the crossroad, thus improving the safety of the user when reaching the crossroad.
