The present invention addresses the problem of detecting that a patient has forgotten to take a medicine, the detection being made on the basis of a temporal variation in the weight of a medicine box in which a plurality of medicine bags are placed. As a means for solving this problem, a medicine bag medication management device (200) is provided with: a variation determination part (209) for receiving a variation in the weight of a medicine box from a weight sensor (201), and a time stamp from a timepiece (202); a meal/dosage time registration part (205); a patient ID/dosage unit registration part (206); and an information transmission device (300) for determining whether or not a patient has forgotten to take all or part of a medicine on the basis of a determination criteria registration part (207), and transmitting a corresponding message to the patient if it has been determined that the patient has forgotten to take all or part of the medicine.
