Disclosed are a CFO estimation method and receiver for: classifying a plurality of samples into a first sample group or a second sample group according to reliability, wherein each sample indicates a value calculated from two received signals located in the same frequency resource on two continuous OFDM symbols; estimating a primary CFO by using a first sample belonging to the first sample group; compensating phases of second samples, which belong to the second sample group , by using a result of the estimated primary CFO; and estimating a secondary CFO by using a third sample, which is among the phase-compensated second samples and of which the reliability has been compensated to be a threshold or more , and the first sample belonging to the first sample group.
