A method and device for integrating knowledge bases, a knowledge base management system, and a storage medium. The method for integrating knowledge bases comprises: extracting knowledge directories from a frequently asked question (FAQ) database and an ontology knowledge base, wherein the ontology knowledge base comprises an ontology and an ontological relationship (S110); and mounting the content of the FAQ database to the ontology knowledge base according to the ontology, ontological relationship and knowledge directories to generate an integrated knowledge base (S120). The method improves the performance of a question answering system.
