Provided is a technology that is capable of presenting, to users, information on how characteristics of facilities should be set or the like while eliminating the necessity of repeating calculations many times when optimizing the characteristics of facilities constituting a plant. In an energy analysis assistance apparatus 1 for a plant comprising a plurality of facilities, a calculation unit 11 generates a logical expression that includes at least one variable indicating the characteristics of facilities to be analyzed, by using a numerical expression representing a plant model, a numerical expression representing a facility model, and a numerical expression representing an external condition when the plant model, the facility model indicating the capacity of the facilities constituting the plant, and energy consumption of the plant or the external condition indicating a load are given. An output unit 12 generates, on the basis of the logical expression generated by the calculation unit 11, a graph in which one of two axes represents the characteristics of the facilities to be analyzed which are indicated by one variable, and outputs the graph.
