A smart pillow capable of monitoring physiological parameters of a human body and a physiological parameter monitoring method therefor. The smart pillow comprises a pillow body (1), a main board disposed in the pillow body (1), a processor configured to process data, a wireless communication module configured to be interconnected and communicated with a cloud server, a power supply configured to supply power, an acceleration sensor unit (2) configured to monitor head-neck body-movement data of a user, and a photoelectric sensor unit (3) configured to monitor head-neck artery blood flow data of the user. The processor, the wireless communication module, the power supply, the acceleration sensor unit (2) and the photoelectric sensor unit (3) are electrically connected to the main board, separately. By disposing the acceleration sensor unit (2) and the photoelectric sensor unit (3) in the pillow body (1), the smart pillow can monitor and store sleeping physiological parameters of a user, and the physiological parameters are synchronized by means of a wireless communication module, a cloud server and a mobile terminal, such that the user knows and improves sleeping, thereby improving the quality of health and the quality of life.
