The utility model discloses a writing instrument capable of being formed into various shapes or figures when combined with another or more of the same writing instrument for educational and recreational purposes, the writing instrument includes a barrel, an ink chamber defining a writing tip, a lower housing having a lower magnetic element underneath, an upper housing configured to cover said barrel whereby the writing tip being snap-fitted to the upper inner portion of the upper housing wherein the upper housing having an upper magnetic element. The writing instrument further includes a steel ball removably attached to either the lower magnetic element or upper magnetic element.
