PROCESS FOR PROTECTION OF ARMOURED FIGHTING VEHICLES () AGAINST ANTI-TANK MISSILES OF HIGH () TRAJECTORY OR LOW () TRAJECTORY, BASED ON USE OF EXPLOSIVE FLYING SHIELDS CARRIED OUT WITH DRONES BEARING DIRECTIVE EXPLOSIVE CHARGES
The invention relates to a process for protecting armoured fighting vehicles, such as tanks or armoured face conveyors, against anti-tank missiles of high trajectory, i.e. vertical or acutely inclined one, or of low trajectory, i.e. horizontal or slightly inclined one. According to the invention, the process includes an armoured fighting vehicle, such as a tank (11), using at least four explosive flying shields stored in a compartment (9), behind the turret of the tank (11), each such explosive flying shield being carried out by means of a drone (1) provided with two proximity sensors (4) and two high-power directive charges (2) with explosive and splinters, which are capable to generate vertically large explosive surfaces, enough to destroy an anti-tank missile (7), where each explosive flying shield is connected to the armoured fighting vehicle by a flexible resistant cable (8) by which the drone (1) is supplied and guided, using an on-board computer, in the optimal stand-by position or in the optimal fighting position in relation with the anti-tank missiles (7) which attack the armoured vehicle, and, using the on-board computer and the data received from the tactic radar (10) it detects the missiles (7), so that the said anti-tank missiles (7) are destroyed and deviated from the initial trajectory, no matter if they attack serially or simultaneously, using high or low trajectories.
